Isn't flattening expected to make it longer, it's not like there's less to learn, you just don't need to master it all once before you can actually use it. There's value in showing the user's what constrains are redundant, I just have my doubts that they would actually learn better if the checkbox is unticked. Short-term I recall more cases of people confused because a constraint "doesn't work" because they had various redundants than cases of people confused because auto-remove did something. Of course it could be that the latter just doesn't get reported even if it happens more often or that I'm just not remembering them.I doubt it flattens the learning curve, it definitely makes it longer.
