FreeCAD and the Biomedical field

Post by Kunda1 »

Hey fellow freecad folks,

I recently tried to submit a grant proposal to the Chan Zuckerberg foundation that is offering funds to open source projects that impact the biomedical field. I was wondering if together we can compile a list of any such projects that y'all know of.. in this forum thread?

I have pretty low expectations that the proposal will gain any traction (I have zero experience writing these types of proposals). Even though I think the proposal is fair and is legitimate. Anyway, it did motivate me to start this thread and do a little research on my own. An aside, FreeCAD Is highly cited on Google scholar. I had no idea about all these different projects that graduate students and researchers have been writing and developing about an in FreeCAD.

So fire away with your feedback!
