Re: OCCT 7.7.0 is out.
Is there a handy list of API changes so we know what will break? I haven’t compiled against a new dev build in several months.
Re: OCCT 7.7.0 is out.
As i see they made a head for it, but also there the bate tag for it. Just saying, that i can not compile it, since cmake does not find tbb (they made some changes for that recently), which is more or less essential for OCCT.

I've been using 7.7 with 0.21 since like July, no issues I could contribute to it.

They will post in the release forum when the release is official. Within that post there will be release notes on changes.

Re: OCCT 7.7.0 is out.
is FreeCAD working well with this version? usually something breaks on each release
Re: OCCT 7.7.0 is out.
The made a now a 7.7.0 head, seem that they will publish it soon.
But there is an other problem with the head. They updating the tbb usage, but they break it, see https://tracker.dev.opencascade.org/view.php?id=33147. They also made a repair commit before the head, but it still does not work, cmake does not find the libraries and so, and when typing in per hand, it also does not work. Maybe on other OS it does work, but at least not for Debian 11 (stable).
Maybe the commit before the tbb regression works, which is b95eefe1c2879453d2011ac7df247aa3f453167c, but i did not try it atm.

Sometimes it does not break things, also @drmacro use the dev version regulary. When it does not work he reports it and @wmayer fix it in his type of speed, means lightspeed. So i guess it will work.

Re: OCCT 7.7.0 is out.
do we know if there where commits related to 7.7 compatibility? Is the 0.20 branch compatible?
