From your screen shot it always catches my eye that wmayer removes 3 lines of code for every 1 he adds.

Norm's FreeCAD cake and
its sequel .
7 years ago, Part Sweep didn't exist... We needed to use Python. Might be interesting to re-upload the file if I can find it, just to see how much progress was made since.
