Hello.
Well, I thought that there already had been discussion about this, but search (also on Mantis) turned up with zip ...
Well, I have a small wish
I would like to have some arrows or double arrows as icons in the Shapestring Tool-Menus, so that you could
advance from menu to menu in a "wizard" style.
Or adding "Continue" Buttons to be clicked would also be an option.
This would improve User Friendlieness/Usability.
I'm sure new users won't think of pressing "Enter" would bring them to the next menu.
Thanks.
Roland

Re: Feature Request: Shapestring "Wizard"
Hi Roland
I agree that although it is quite efficient, it is not very intuitive, particularly for a new user. I found it confusing at first. The one that caught me was Draft text, I thought it was not working because you had to know to press enter twice, the first is taken as a new line symbol and the second is accepted as enter.
I think it would be most intuitive if all the inputs were fields in one window, so you could tab from one to the next like in most the Part and other task views /input GUIs etc.
But anyway, I agree that the Draft ShapeString GUI could be improved. I think it would be a good idea for you to make a Mantis feature request ticket, if you like. Someone might pick up on it for 0.16.
