FreeCAD 0.15

Post by wayne1011 »

After seeing a few videos from people who have 0.15 build on their computers , I just
have to say. I think FreeCAD is coming into its own. These new videos are very impressive.
I am only new to FreeCAD but now I am sure many more people will intall and run this
very good program. I have Alibre (Cubify Design) and i like FreeCAD much more. I saw a
video of a bolt being made by (Cad1919) and it had the best threads on it i have ever seen
in a CAD video and that includes Solid Works.
Keep up the good work TEAM.
I am just installing Microsoft Visual Studio today and i hope to learn how to make a build
of 0.15.
Thanks TEAM

Check out the development snapshots that are updated often, they come precompiled. Please be sure to read the instructions below the download links.

The current Assembly workbench is totally useless. Its presence in the FreeCAD builds thoroughly confuse users.

Would it be possible to *not* include it in the upcoming 0.15 release? Please???

Thank you.

Edit: issue #1984.
