Re: [FreeCAD 0.20] a beta release for Windows is available
Thanks for testing! This is why I made the release.
I tried hard to update Qt but after 3 days I have to give up. I cannot find out what is wrong with Qt5Network nor fix it . All builds I made suffer the same issue, even Qt builds from other persons at GitHub. So we have to stay with Qt 5.15.2.
To proceed, here is a second build where the Qt5Network issue is fixed:
https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD-Bund ... /0.20beta1
Please give this a try and report back.

Re: [FreeCAD 0.20] a beta release for Windows is available
That last link the FreeCAD-0.20.0beta-WIN-x64-installer-2 doesn't want to boot on my windows 10 system. I only get a very short loading icon on my mouse and then nothing, no errors nothing happens.
Stupid windows trying to push their windows store by screwing up direct downloads from the internet under the false idea of security.
The installer gets blocked and windows wasn't telling me it did that. Seems like some sneaky windows update decided it needed to protect me from myself. I need to switch too linux....
If you right click the file you need to tag below option, it is in Dutch but it says it has been blocked.
Edit,Editie Windows 10 Pro
Versie 21H2
Installatiedatum 15-5-2021
Build van besturingssysteem 19044.1706
Ervaring Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4170.0

At least you got a message, mine was like nope not installing this.
Maybe we can do something like this, and please our M$ overlords.

Hopefully it will stop people from selling it. After seeing that Freecad is multiple times on the MS store for money I made a request here:
https://github.com/mayrinck/FOSSonMicro ... ussions/36
I checked if it was legit and he has 2 apps on the store one is DIA which is pretty nice program, and it is free.

Re: [FreeCAD 0.20] a beta release for Windows is available
I was doing some path cnc stuff I broke Freecad. PAth won't load anymore and get an error on start:
Edit; I think it happened when I by accident deleted the geometry on which my home position was set. After removing all path features I could redo is and now it works again.
