Thanks for the thorough explanation .jmaustpc wrote: If you quote someone it gives then a notification. If you click Quote before opening a reply in this forum, you get a reply open with the entire post quoted. If you want to do a partial quote, open the reply window first by clicking reply, then highlight the part you want to quote and then click "quote" and it will give you a properly referenced partial quote and notify the original poster. You can create an unreferenced or plain quote by just clicking quote from the reply window when nothing is highlighted, usually that is bad practice because it does not notify the original poster and makes a conversation hard to follow as you have to try to work out who is being quoted, but there are times where it is useful.

Re: Help test FreeCAD for Mac
Hi,
Thanks for all the hard work getting FreeCAD working on the MAC. Everything works ok for me apart from the Drawing workbench. When creating a drawing on the mac version I see what look like previews of other tabs that are open (apart from the start page). A screen shot is below:
Thanks,
Rowan

Re: Help test FreeCAD for Mac
Hello,
this is a known issue that will remain until we port to QT5. Efforts for this already startet, but will most likely not be finished in short time.

Hi ickby,
Thanks for letting me know. I look forward to the update when that happens.

Re: Help test FreeCAD for Mac
Hello!
if Some Mac user can test it :
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=15215
just to know if it's a real drawback from OCC version, or if it's a problem from my configuration or file.
thanks

Will try to have a look tomorrow. My Mac is currently meshing a very huge part. I can at least test with OCCT 7
