PartDesign Next: bug? interaction with Part stuff

Postby DeepSOIC » Sat Apr 16, 2016 12:06 pm

Hi!
I'm exploring ways to combine Part and PartDesign. A bug...
1. PartDesign - create Part object
2. Part wb - make cube. The cube ends up under Part object.
3. select the cube, then PartDesign - create body. The cube ends up under Body.
4. Delete Body. The cube moves back to be under Part. However, it vanishes from 3d view, and no hiding and unhiding seems to bring it back. It's like gone permanently hidden.

update.
Saving and reopening the file brings the cube visible again, so attaching file isn't useful. Attaching anyway...

Thanks wmayer for reply!
Followup - another example to test (simpler):
1. PartDesign workbench: create a Part container.
2. Part workbench: Create a cube
3. In tree view, drag the cube into Part container. So far so good.
4. Drag the cube back out of Part. The cube disappears.

Also reproducible with other stuff, not just Part cubes (I actually encountered this with sketches).
