you could try to export the one from your dwg to dxf, import it to FC and make a face out of it (maybe a bit transparent). such flat people are actually quite common in 3dthschrader wrote: ↑Sun Jul 09, 2017 5:18 pm I forgot:
See autocad-drawing, the man standing beneath the mast.
Where can I find a model of a man for loading in FC?

Today is your lucky day, I had made this file with human profile silhouettes a small while ago so I can use these whenever needed.thschrader wrote: ↑Sun Jul 09, 2017 5:18 pm I forgot:

then you can try to open the pdf in inkscape and save the person as svg or dxf, then import it to FC, they cannot stop us or just get the ones from regis... i also just made one quicklythschrader wrote: ↑Sun Jul 09, 2017 6:42 pmthe autocad-pic is taken from an pdf-file. I never get dwg from the cad-technicians,
because they know that I have no autocad.

well, personally I prefer such things to be simple, more details more problems, but here is one quick example...

That's a good workflow but it would be better if the scale tool in freecad was a bit better because the problem is how do you get your 2d scaled, but when you do import exports between files you loose the scale. Unless you've got another small trick up your sleeves i'll like to hear about it.saso wrote: ↑Sun Jul 09, 2017 6:57 pmthen you can try to open the pdf in inkscape and save the person as svg or dxf, then import it to FC, they cannot stop us or just get the ones from regis... i also just made one quicklythschrader wrote: ↑Sun Jul 09, 2017 6:42 pmthe autocad-pic is taken from an pdf-file.
