(ignore the py2 vs py3 stuff, there is no difference between py3 and py2 anymore.)
Very nice. Is it posible to move bspline poles in different axis directions in the 3d view?
Like to see in the Moi3D video with different view directions in four different windows. At minute 8 you can see what I mean.

not for the use-case in the glider workbench. But the interaction nodes are 3d and can be moved in any direction. The dragging is similar to blenders dragging mechanism, but not that advanced. The dragging is done in a plane perpendicular to the view-direction, but I haven't tested in a quadview.

+1
Implemeting a "Blender like" behaviour will give big benefit to the to those who already use blender for mesh design.
I habve testet back then some short key behaviours too:
Gx, Sx ...

and essentialy for nurbs commands like move parallel to a tangent or move in normal direction are useful too.
we should think about Blender Sculpt mode too.

Working with that tool, one can find some parametrization-options.
- Continuity is almost selfexplaining - are there any recommendations?
- Parametrization grants 4 items - not so clear - a trial and error thing: Any recommendations?
- Smoothing Algorithm - 3 possible Parameters - maybe also a testing and experience thing: Any recommendations?
Here a link related to parametrization:

I have never tried other CAD softwares than FC, but from the videos I see, manipulators and draggers in the 3D view is something where FC is really behind other softwares.
looo's coin library is probably the best option we have.
I also read the Open Inventor's draggers and manipulators chapter several times but never dared to give it a try yet.

I agree. That is why I made csys dragger in the transform edit.

I don't like coin and it's "NOW_DO_A_BUNCH_OF_MAGIC" macros.

Hi Wilfried,
you can can call me "private paula", but i still dont get it.
What is the criterion for "smoth" attached curves/surfaces? G1 or G2?
In my opinion G2. Pictures taken from (saso, thanks for the link :) )
