ArchStairs and additional features...

Hello,
As Iam entering magical world of coding Id try to experiment and enclose some additional conditions/and relevant messaging and actions/ to the step(s) settings in above module, would an experienced guy advice me some hints-where to start looking for responsible code?
As for the newbie the module structure is not clear to me yet ))

PS. Of course Id try it locally, without any commits on github ))
