Indeed the "GPL problem" doesn't exist anymore. For now. But many things could re-license in the future depending on who buys them (OCCT, QT,...). And, like with the Sourceforge story, history could very well repeat itself...

BTW, reading this thread again, have you guys noticed that quietly under the hood, the InventorLoader plugin can now import .sat and .sab files too?

Really? I need to check this out. I wasn't interested in it because I don't have any Inventor files, and don't work with it at my day job.

I tried to build the library with conda, but failed because of wrong python linking.
