fenics in FreeCAD
it is in development at: https://github.com/qingfengxia/FenicsSolver

discussion in Fem Forum: https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=22993
Tested in CFD module for heat transfer, elastic and navier stokes laminar incompressible flow.
Migrated to FEM module will happen once FenicsSolver is more stable. The case writer and mesh writer are there, can anyone help the migration and test?
Ubuntu 18.04 LTS 64bit, python3, always work with latest FreeCAD daily build

I added a wiki page about all various kind of solvers. https://www.freecadweb.org/wiki/FEM_Solver

I remember two disscussions I'm not able to find. One was about a solver wich could calculate penetrations like a cannonball into a wall, and the other was about a FEM solver developed in Čech republic. May be some other remembers these topics better than me.

Thanks for the wiki bernd and nice to see the support for all this solvers. IMO in FOSS it is important to have a variety of choices. Here are a few more solvers for the possible future :)

code saturne https://www.code-saturne.org

Can we categorize all the FEM pages by adding them to a [[Category:FEM]] ?
