Hi FreeCAD People,
We are growing our operations, just having hired 2 full time developers to set up Open Source Ecology operations in California. We are working on the Open Source Microfactory - https://microfactory.opensourceecology.org/workshops/ . We are running workshops as our revenue model, where we produce immersion social production experiences.
One of our near term priorities is to create a design workbench for the 3D printer in FreeCAD. Ruslan Krenzler on this Forum has done a little bit of work to start this workbench in 2018, and we are looking for somebody to continue this. The basic idea is drag-and-drop of parametric modules - https://wiki.opensourceecology.org/wiki ... rt_Library - built around our Univesal Axis System - https://wiki.opensourceecology.org/wiki/Universal_Axis - that can be scaled as needed to make machines of all types of configurations. We already built toolheads other than for 3d printing, such as a CNC circuit mill with 10 micron resolution.
We are looking for both volunteers and paid staff, as we are also deploying next prototypes of our Open Source Microtractor - https://wiki.opensourceecology.org/wiki ... rac_v17.10 - email me at marcin at opensourceecology.org if you are interested.
