Dumpbackup for Offline Wiki
Is there a dumpbackup file of the FreecadWiki or can one be made available for offline use for training purposes.

The helpfile in FreeCAD is more or less a copy of the FreeCAD wiki. It can be opened with the Qt-Assistant.

There is a mediawiki extension for git, which can clone and sync an entire wiki in a git structure. I would pretty much like to set that up... Unfortunately I was never able to make it work

Basically tried this, after installing package git-mediawiki:
Code: Select all
git clone mediawiki::https://www.freecadweb.org/wiki/

Re: Dumpbackup for Offline Wiki
It would probably help to stand up a local backup of the wiki inside, e.g. a VM, and try it, which is something I could do. I had the same experience as Yorik. Being able to do that programmatically would also help AR795 have a test environment for editing the wiki theme, too.
