FreeCAD is one of the four "Special Feature 'Everything 3D'" apps included (alongside OpenSCAD, Slic3r, and Blender) on the KNOPPIX Linux distro.

"Among the greatest rewards to building a robust community in any industry is the diversity and volume of new techniques, designs, and methodologies that are shared from so many different sources around the world, whether that be a well-paid researcher at a big 3D printing firm, a low-paid researcher at a university, or a maker in a garage. Nothing particularly noteworthy, just a review website that appears to have several (some pretty recent) reviews of FreeCAD.

They don't say anything we haven't heard before, but overall, they're generally positive. :)

A unique one I stumbled across in a random search result:

https://soundcubed.com/acadp_listings/freecad/

It's a website for "DIY guitar enthusiasts"...

FreeCAD REVIEW in financesonline.com
It seems they like they missed some fundamentals, so I doubt they've actually tried FreeCAD. From the "FreeCAD Pricing Plans" section:
