Most excellent!
I always enjoy the incredible detail in your models and your choice of colors in the renderings.

Several questions:
1. Did you use the assembly workbench(A2plus)?
2. Are all the bodies in one file?
3. How did you make those complicated 3D springs?

Any detail on how you created some of the more complicated bodies would be appreciated. A screenshot showing the tree history could also be
helpful for new users to understand your modelling strategy.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi Guys, I am using v 0.16 as V 0 17 is unstable on my machine.
I used Assembly WB2, All parts are in 1 file, ball races I construct in two parts (shells and ball array) then match them int the assembly.
Some items I create as a sub assembly but avoid it if possible as the object colours change when imported in an assembly. I assume due to lighting angle differences.
With regards to the torsion springs I cheated a little by drawing the directional changes parts separately and them joining them in the assembly as I do with pipework, this gives the added flexibility to be able to adjusting individual parts to ensure the correct fit, I find it easier to do this, I am sure the more professional users out there will shoot me down over this, but it is my way.
Attached example of the torsion spring.

Good to hear FreeCAD 0.16 + Assembly 2 combination can still cope just fine, when it comes to such projects.
