Code: Select all
$ export PYTHONPATH=/usr/lib/freecad-daily/lib && python3
Python 3.6.7 (default, Oct 22 2018, 11:32:17)
[GCC 8.2.0] on linux
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> import FreeCAD
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
ImportError: dynamic module does not define module export function (PyInit_FreeCAD)
The console mode also goes for Python2:
Code: Select all
$ /usr/lib/freecad-daily/bin/FreeCADCmd
[SNIP]
>>> import sys; print(sys.version)
2.7.15rc1 (default, Nov 12 2018, 14:31:15)
[GCC 7.3.0]
Can the daily be built with Python3 bindings (pretty please)?
Or is there another method to monkey-patch this short of building FreeCAD myself?
