Good question. I think you're listening to vinyl records.
I have not forgotten about it. I test solutions individually. I will solve the problem anti skating in the future. I have not designed it yet. Currently, I made a unipivot . I'm testing a technical solution now. It is a combination of a unipivot with a classic arm suspension. I do not know if this system was used somewhere before.

Here is a real world project I just finished using FreeCAD:

A simple set design. I have been working with the techdraw workbench to create drawings I can pass off for someone else to build from. I ran into some issues with the text in this, my first techdraw template here but I think I have figured it out and have a nice new 11x17 template for use on my next FreeCAD design project. The updated techdraw template documentation is much easier than what I was finding before. Nice that the xml can be edited directly in Inkscape.

Hello everyone
I present you my last realization : a "billet washer"
("billets" are made of aluminum alloys, and are 200 mm in diameter and 8m long)

I used a master file to assemble all the parts with "A2plus" workbench (only "include external file" function, parts are placed manually)
the sheets were generated with "sheet metal" workbench, unfolded, exported in dxf format and supplied to the laser cutting company
The "Techdraw" workbench allowed me to draw all the plans of the machined parts (my job)
And on some parts I used the "Path" Workbench to generate the program
