Diameter and radius above leader line

Post by Tamirov.ru »

Hello community!
In ex-USSR countries there is drawing standart "GOST".
One issue is that diameter and radius dimension should be above leader line.
In the picture the top appearance is wrong for me, i can't find setting to achieve the bottom appearance:

Not possible in current version(s). Better leaders coming in v0.19.

To Any: Is there a subject matter expert that can speak to similarities/differences in GOST vs ISO?

I am afraid you will wait very long  . Main ideas about GOST dimensions you can grasp here: docs.cntd.ru/document/1200086238.
BTW, when is 0.19 planned release date?

Probably true, but if I don't ask, I'll never know.

Alas, my Russian is limited to Ovechkin, Malkin, Tretiak, etc. :(

I would appreciate it if preparing such information was not left to wandererfan. It's fantastic what he has done implementing TechDraw, so let's take everything away from him, which someone else can do - and which distracts him.
A Sketcher Lecture with in-depth information is available in English, auf Deutsch, en français, en español.

I'm not only easily distracted :D, but I've never worked a day in my life as a Draftsman/Mechanical Designer/... and my last training in creating technical drawings was in secondary school (-50 years), so input from subject matter experts is always welcome.

:o
I started learning technical drawing about 2 months ago (for self-growth) and simultaneously I searched for a best open source cad program. I decided that FreeCad is the most perspective one!
I'm web developer, sole proprietor, and I know "Nothing seek, nothing find".
I have read this: https://www.freecadweb.org/wiki/Donate - disheartening situation...
To my mind FreeCad (its potential) needs PR, popularisation.
Many people, organisations, potential sponsors don't realise it.
I will write messages on some resources about it.

Maybe this translation will help you in further work on the module?
