I have merged the topics, so we have one nice engine building topic. You should edit the first post and change the subject to something generic describing the machine

Re: PSA DW10 rods
Sorry, Normand. I still think it is better like this.

No problem with me, just wanted to edit my reply to avoid confusion.
Re: PSA DW10 rods
The first four where made ourselfes, later version where CNC produced by a friend (I am an aluminium welder so we "exchange" skillsNormandC wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2019 5:17 pm Edit: question unclear after the merging of multiple topics
Did you manufacture them the rods yourself, or is this a reproduction?
I notice that the FCStd model is in one part, while the real-life rods are in two parts. I suppose that the lost thickness due to the cutting process does not matter? (I know nothing about engines)
This drawing isn't finished due to production process steps, the 2 parts are screwed together at 60Nm after that the hole is milled else due to internal material tensions it isn't round.
Re: 9" two plate centrifugal clutch
I love the intake plenum after the intercooler. How thick is the aluminum you used there?

Re: 9" two plate centrifugal clutch
All my sheet metal works are 2mm don't draw stuff like that, use cardboard for the base shape and copy those to sheet metal, some hammering, bending and the old English wheel and off you go...
Re: 9" two plate centrifugal clutch
You have cast the parts or you have lathe??
