I might just try it later too but will wait a week or so. I have to wonder if the stated "deadline" is fake, only to create some false sense of urgency for faster results. If I do model it, I'll post here instead of replying to the e-mail address.

I'll start now and will post an image when I am done. I won't include the .fcstd file but will save it, probably for later.

Scratch that - I see now that it is more of a challenge to determine how the pieces go together than how to actually model the pieces, so I won't post an image yet. I wonder, in how many other CAD forums has the OP asked for help...

Seeing the different solutions, these guys would better have stayed here.

@chris
Suggest you remove the email address from first post.

@topic
I take the challenge.
Just wondered why the flat end on the part follower.
Did some search and find this website:
http://www.ciese.org/training/ProE/ProE.htm
There is a WindSculpture.zip for download, inside 4 folders deep you will find 2 pdf files. There you can see the assembly.

@bejant
If you want to work it out for yourself, don't look into the pdfs. :!:
But meme and roerich are miles past the result. :lol:

Have still some work to do, modeling it parametric in Part Design Workbench.

In this case we left the email adresses due to the urgency announced. We expected OP to come back and answer urgent questions - which he didn't. So I would refrain from the service of removing the adress, it does no harm to the forum.

Hi
Now that the deadline is over, I attach my drawing
We are all imagining that this "urgent" job was meant to deceive an exam, if so, I hope the lesson will be more profitable than on their smartphone. :lol:
I dezip the proposed file but I can not open it :!:
It's unimportant I reproduced the elements and without the assembly instructions, even in IKEA version :lol: , I followed my idea

At least we got a nice exercise. If they were smart they would have asked for this very short deadline while it is not before monday ...
If they were very smart, they would have discovered FreeCAD long time ago and they would have modeled it on their own.

Even if it is like that in the Creo pdf I would guess that it is upside down. Windmills are up in the air because it is better to have them up there, I would guess higher is better. And to my very subjecive aesthetic feelings it would look better.
