Maybe a stand alone howto page could be a "use case" page and consist of link to items like this. Advantage is that it brings you directly into the description of he relevant feature. Maybe difficult could be to keep navigation easy.: if you just want to check out a link and its not what you need you need to get back with 1 click and no scrolling or people loose patience.
