TechDraw Schnitte/Schattierte Isometrie

Post by HelloWorldXD »

Hallo Zusammen,

Danke.

Herr Google says:

Hello everybody,

I've been a bit busy with Freecad and am quite enthusiastic about the scope, the operation is basically very similar to the "big".
Basically, I also know the tutorials for the area but I'm a bit spoiled by Catia or SolidEdge and would have some questions:

The with the sectional view in the TechDraw is generally not bad, but I have assemblies of 100+ parts is the effort to hatch this later exorbitant so the question of whether I have overlooked something here or this option does not exist.

Another question would be if it is possible to bring colored iso views onto the drawing sheet.

And the last question may be trivial but I think that the 3D operations can already work very well.
However, the 2D Drafting site somehow lags behind? Eg. how do I add shape and positional tolerances in drawings or surface roughness have found no way to do so.

If I skipped the topics I apologize for it but the amount of tutorials and forum posts is so great that I really could not consider everything

Thank you.

HelloWorldXD, there is a dedicated german subforum, where you can ask and discuss in german. However, a special TechDraw forum exists only in the English part of the forum.

A Sketcher Lecture with in-depth information is available in English, auf Deutsch, en français, en español.

You do not need to hatch each face if "Hatch Cut Surface" property is True. Here are some other settings that may help:
  • Cut Surface Color - white
  • Show Cut Surface - true
  • File Hatch Pattern - either a PAT file (..../Mod/TechDraw/PAT/FCPAT.pat or your own), or an SVG pattern file (.../Mod/TechDraw/Patterns/*.svg)
  • Name Geom Pattern - an entry in the PAT file (Diagonal4)
  • Hatch Scale - makes the pattern larger or smaller
  • Hatch Weight - heavier or lighter lines
Google:

Lines in color are not here yet.

The 3D side has ~10 years more development than the TechDraw module. Dimensions have rudimentary support for tolerances. For surface roughness, you can use SVG symbols, but it is a bit unsatisfactory. Balloons may also be helpful: https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic. ... 2#p298694
