Combining paths from imported SVG?

Post by falviani »

My version info:
OS: Windows 10
Word size of OS: 64-bit
Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit
Version: 0.18.16117 (Git)
Build type: Release
Branch: releases/FreeCAD-0-18
Hash: dbb4cc6415bac848a294f03b80f65e888d531742
Python version: 3.6.6
Qt version: 5.6.2
Coin version: 4.0.0a
OCC version: 7.3.0
Locale: English/UnitedStates (en_US)

After importing an SVG file I have a huge number of paths; in the draft workbench they convert to an equal number of sketches, of course. Is there any way to combine them into a much smaller number that would be manageable?

Thanks in advance,
Frank Alviani

Thanks for the quick response. The merge worked, but took over 5 minutes on a Ryzen 1700x. I tried to edit the sketch to put a rectangle behind the merged path, but if FreeCAD wasn't hung, it was taking over 10 minutes to enter edit mode. I think I stressed the poor thing beyond it's capabilities. :(
