Re: FEM MeshBoundaryLayer Documentation discussion thread
I do not use it. Would be good to have an useful example file which shows what this is useful for.
Re: FEM MeshBoundaryLayer Documentation discussion thread
I looked in the source code and it seems like you coded it, amirite?

Re: FEM MeshBoundaryLayer Documentation discussion thread
No I only fixed bugs, moved code around and did code formatting, the initial git commit 1c927818 for gmsh mesh object click on parent commits for further implementation of object and command

Re: FEM MeshBoundaryLayer Documentation discussion thread
I think it is too difficult to make boundary layer working robust (working for different kind of meshing algorithm), how about just remove this feature?
It is only useful in CFD case, where near wall velocity gradient is very big, if there is turbulent flow, there is a requirement of the first layer thickness.

Re: FEM MeshBoundaryLayer Documentation discussion thread
To be honest, I do not like this idea. How about posting two examples, one where it works and one where it fails?
