Sketch a circle with automatic constrained control points

Post by freedman »

In sketcher; draw any polygon with the polygon tool, then do a window select of the entire polygon and click "toggle to construction mode". What was a blue circle with a white polygon is now a white circle with a blue polygon. We now have constrained control points. If you do a polygon to the Nth of 36 you get 10 degree constrained increments. I thought this was worth some words. :)

... an interesting case study!
(Inverting the construction mode) and deleting the circle
with additional constraints you get any polygon with equal edges. (star a.s.o.)
