Yes, this is due to my modification to GroupExtension. I'll submit a PR for that soon.
Try Assembly3 with my custom build of FreeCAD at here.

Hi realthunder, did you had some time to look into this?
Was the pull request submitted and integrated into the daily builds?

I just submitted a PR for a quick fix. I am working on a better solution, but still need some time.

For me it is not fixed with the workaround ...

damn even if I start FreeCAD from build directory it takes C++ libraries from the installed FreeCAD, which was a few commits behind. This is very strange ... The python modules are loaded from build directory. Since I mostly do Python I did not recognized this. I need to make a new topic on install about this.
