Could you also make a separate post on Users Showcase subforum ?

Hi, this is my first post here, I've been lurking a bit before while learning FreeCAD, my thanks to the community for all the great resources.

I designed a small tent ("bivy tent") on FreeCAD then sewed it. It was great to get the dimensions of all fabric parts, especially the non rectangular ones.

In Reality :

I wrote a blog post about the process, if you want to know more.

@alxndrr, this is fantastic and merits it's own post! If you don't mind, please start a new thread on the Users Showcase subforum and if you can link back it from your original post, that would be great!

Good question, but in order not to hijack this thread, please start a separate thread to discuss this (and it shouldn't be in User Showcases either). thank you

Hi.
Here is my next project. Modular welding/work table. At last my knees and back will be able to rest! ;)
Thanks Klaus (@kbwbe) for his A2Plus assembly workbench! :)

Some project details:
- table top size: 1,2m x 1,2m x 0,2m (0,95m height)
- 6mm steel
- 16mm holes with 50mm spacing
- weight ~200kg
- flatness < 0,1mm (I can't put a shim that size anywhere)
