Hi
Unfortunately my english is very bad. That's why I asked google to translate it for me. I just wanted to show you in a few pictures what I created in A2 +. I would be happy if AMS3 is done. That I can turn the engine.
Greetings from Germany

Re: Taifun Bison from 1970
Nice modeling Dirk.
Re: Taifun Bison from 1970
Really nice work, Dirk. Can you:
- elaborate more about the history of this model?
- What version of FC you used?
- What version of A2+ you used?
- How long did it take you to model?
- What were issues you encountered and workarounds you used?
- Explain why you didn't animate the model? (since A2+ has that capability)
Alone you go faster. Together we go farther

Re: Taifun Bison from 1970
Good model Dirk.
@Kunda1 :-
Explain why you didn't animate the model? (since A2+ has that capability):-
I do not find any thread for animation capability of A2+, if you can share any thread or link for A2+ animation, that will be great help.
Thanks.

Re: Taifun Bison from 1970
It's possible to animate assemblies in A2plus using Python scripting, see https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic. ... 7&p=309646 (perhaps asking on that thread would be more relevant for the specifics on how to do so)

Re: Taifun Bison from 1970
Hello
I found the model engine in my workshop. It belonged to my father who had it in a model airplane. I had no CAD experience and started in Feb 2019 with FreeCad. I found it a good idea to draw the engine for practice.
Word size of OS: 64-bit
Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit
Version: 0.18.16110 (Git)
Build type: Release
Branch: (HEAD detached at upstream/releases/FreeCAD-0-18)
Hash: f7dccfaa909e5b9da26bf50c4a22ccca9bb10c40
Python version: 3.6.6
Qt version: 5.6.2
Coin version: 4.0.0a
OCC version: 7.3.0
Locale: German/Germany (de_DE)
Since then I get the error message.Constraints inconsistent.at the following parts.Haven't found a solution here.
and I don't know my way around Python.
Many greetings
Dirk

A2plus V0.3.1What version of A2+ you used?
It took me about 100 h to draw the components, and about 10 h to assemble them in A2+.How long did it take you to model?
I had problems with parts that were rounded. Here A2+ did not find any covers so that I drew the part for example (throttle lever) without roundings. With the jet needle which consists of three bodies I found also no clear Pos. To bring the carburettor on Posision I succeeded only by the alignment of the axial bore. What were issues you encountered and workarounds you used?
Since then I get the error message.Constraints inconsistent.at the following parts.Haven't found a solution here.
Unfortunately I don't know the possibility of animation in A2 +Explain why you didn't animate the model? (since A2+ has that capability)
