Anyone interested in helping to maintain/develop/fix/triage the Spreadsheet Workbench. It is getting to be a pretty popular part of users FC workflow and there is a backlog of bugs and feature requests:

I'm definitely interested in seeing improvement here.

Setting up FC for dev on my machine has always been problematic, so I don't know that I can contribute directly. However, I think both improving the Spreadsheet module and LO integration would be great GSOC projects - especially LO Calc.

Maybe we could at least identify a path for getting LO integration to work? I have a few of the details worked out, but really no idea. Would happily mentor a GSocC student next year, though.

In my opinion we won't "Integrate LibreOffice Calc via GUI" into Spreadsheet workbench anytime soon, as that is just (technically) unrealistic. Best to close the issue as "won't fix".

I agree to this statement. The spreadsheet in FreeCAD handles objects like properties of shapes where no counterparts exist in LibreOffice.

I can take a look. I’ll put a pause on my other freecad projects for a few days and try to wrap my head around these spreadsheet improvements.
