Hi Realthunder,
in my Ubuntu 18.04 LTS daily builds I installed the Animator workbench via the Addon Installer.
In your Assembly3 Workbench I see the Workbench as installed in the Addon Manager, but I can't switch to the Workbench.
Do you know what this may be? I want to try to move a crankshaft with connecting rod and piston, which I assembled with ASM3 and constraints.
See the following thread in the German Freecad-Forum, there you can also find my exercise Freecad file zipped.

Many thanks and many greetings
Wilfried
Oops, somehow missed your post. I'll take a look once I sort out this big PR I am working on.

The syntax is DocumentName#ObjectName.PropertyName … <<Document Label>>#<<Object Label>>.PropertyName
Works! Thanks a lot! I tried internal names yesterday, but I must have been blind or just too tired.

@realthunder

Wow, after trying all the assembly workbenches and being stomped by how strange they work, today I found by accident your Assembly3 WB.
Finally a WB that is written with the end user in mind. I never got the other assemblies working, but with yours it was easy.

I have a long history doing CAD, including 2 years Sketchup and 4 years Fusion. Assemblies in Fusion are easy, even kinematic movement and interference detection. With your working solution for assemblies FreeCAD comes much closer to be a viable tool for CAD people like me who want to be users instead of programmers.

(Apologies to the people who made the other WB's. I am sure they do understand how they work)
I am a refugee from Fusion 360. Switched over to FreeCAD and am spreading the word. After years of very little progress I switched again to another solution. I wish you all the best!

Yes, it should be installable by now. And solvespace solver (py_slvs) is also installable through PyPi. Not sure if it is possible to auto install required PyPi package through the manager. Anyone one know who's the person in charge of add on manager?
