Hexapod animation using Assembly4

Hexapod animation using Assembly4 workbench. Time permitting I will have the tutorial out soon.

Do you mean the overlayed tree view on the 3d view? It's glass addon from triplus with some modifications. Doing assemblies requires a free vertical tree view . I'll do a tutorial on that too soon.

Thank for the video, it was very helpful, but how do you set up the tree view on the left?

Please comment under the YouTube video. This being a user showcase thread I already see the admins getting upset because we're highjacking the thread :) .

The glass module is displayed on the left. If it still doesn't display your explanation is at 5.30 min in that video.

very nice. Would it be possible to show the assembly tree, may-be in multi-document view ? And collapsing all parts and links, only showing their names. I'm curious in how you built-up your model.
try the Assembly4 workbench for FreCAD — tutorials here and here
