… abused your frame sketch picture,
built a new frame by a 7-control-point Sketcher BSpline
Scaled 2 clones and made a Loft.
If the frames are "smooth" the hull also will be.

… and here a possible workflow.
Different frame sketches.
Also with a final Gordon surface.

A idea:
Why not use isocurve to make points instead a mesh. (should be an option)
With theses points, we will able to rebuild a new surface (smoothed?) and mix several cloud points to create a new mixed surface with the approximate feature.
...
and thank you for the new feature Line. ;)

Hi Chris,
Please look at Blend Curve. The end of the curve is not at the edge, but offset on the surface. This looks like a mistake.

Maybe you can look for this feature request at this time:
Chris_G wrote: Thu Jan 09, 2020 1:48 pm Hi Wilfried,
I looked at the video.
I see what you ask for.
This should be possible pretty easily.
I lack free time, but I'll give a try when possible.
Best regards
Wilfried

I added a new tool : Multi-Loft
The goal is to loft "multi-face" objects like shapestrings.

I have more and more the feeling that this workbench should be part of core FreeCAD!
A Sketcher Lecture with in-depth information is available in English, auf Deutsch, en français, en español.
