Hi Freecad users,
I am using A2plus v0.4.46b and I noticed something which I don't understand. Here is what I did :
first I set 2 planes constraints between blue part and the green part therefore I get as expected one DOF
then I add another part which I fixed to the green part with an circular constraint (rotation unlocked) and I noticed that now, green part and blue part are fixed to each other (DOF=0).
how is that possible ?

Re: A2plus incosistent DOF
was my question dumb ? did I misunderstand the A2plus workbench principle ?
Re: A2plus incosistent DOF
I'm not sure if the assembly is correct. Your tree indentation looks different than the indentations that I have in my assemblies. I'm not sure why that is. Would you post your file?Ben Jammin wrote: ↑Tue Apr 21, 2020 9:41 am was my question dumb ? did I misunderstand the A2plus workbench principle ?

Re: A2plus incosistent DOF
You are right, the circular constraint was supposed to appear in the construction tree. I just re-opened the freecad model and even though the tree indentation is correct (i.e. circular constraint was there) I still get the same DOF.
As you suggested I joined, the freecad model.
