Thanks for the link. If i comes to a Linux machine the game gets much more complicated due to the overwhelming choice.

For me personal is music (ableton mostly) the main reason to buy a mac again... But trough the 64bit only strategy of Catalina i'm less sure if i re do it if i did know it on front!!

I have Parallels on my Mac and it runs pretty good. Haven't tried sound though.

parallels is a virtual machine(just like virtual box). Wine / crossover are applications that is able to run windows applications on native OSX / linux
