Re: GSoC2020, FEM: extend examples
We have got around one week before the final submission!
From all the things that were given here, I think our best shot for the final submission would be a report that has:
1. A diff of all the merged commits in FreeCAD master (hopefully, everything will get merged)
2. A link to my GSoC blogs
3. If we are able to make the wiki pages in time, links of them too as documentation of the work.
Beside that, when should we start working on the wiki pages?
I have asked here: https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic. ... 20#p422033

Re: GSoC2020, FEM: extend examples
Have you already registered on the wiki.
Whats you account name over there? Edit: you can rimply register and will be upgraded to an editor later.
I asked Kunda to change your rights but I think he will need your account before.

Re: GSoC2020, FEM: extend examples
Yes, I had registered long ago, before the coding period started I guess and I also have editing rights.
My username is Sudhanshu_Dubey: https://wiki.freecadweb.org/User:Sudhanshu_Dubey
I think the first page we should create is "FEM_Examples" as this is a command in FEM (the one that opens the ExamplesGUI) but has no wiki page associated with it which is not good.

You're good to go on the wiki since April 202016:12, 11 April 2020 Jmaustpc talk contribs block changed group membership for Sudhanshu Dubey from (none) to editor and translator

Re: GSoC2020, FEM: extend examples
Hi Kunda, any hints for Sudhanshu where to start with for creating pages for his work and for the tutorials?
Should he start with a copy of something existing?
Maybe this helps as a starting point.... https://wiki.freecadweb.org/WikiPages
Re: GSoC2020, FEM: extend examples
I was thinking about using the Clipping Plane Add page as the basic skeleton cause the FEM examples is also a utility. (Though that page itself is a TODO).
Thanks!HoWil wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2020 6:30 pm Maybe this helps as a starting point.... https://wiki.freecadweb.org/WikiPages
Re: GSoC2020, FEM: extend examples
I have started working on the wiki documentation.
And this is the first page that I will complete: https://wiki.freecadweb.org/FEM_Examples
I have also created a thread in the wiki sub-forum regarding this: https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic. ... 57#p425409
So any suggestions on what all should go in that page?
Also, what other pages should we create?
For now I am thinking about some examples which require some post processing to be really appreciated like the capacitance two balls example.
BTW: we need to change the name of the capacitance two balls example as it is also from the Elmer GUI examples.

Re: GSoC2020, FEM: extend examples
For the final report, I have thought of making a gist which is here: https://gist.github.com/Sudhanshu-Dubey ... fd26a08e59
Please suggest improvements that could be done in this.
