A quick note here:
- PDF/epub/translated versions are in https://freecadweb.org/manual/
- Indeed I'm working on upgrading the manual to 0.19... Working in git so far because I want to keep control of the wording (and also thinking of a printed book version) but of course everything will go to the wiki later on

I only came across this book the other day and have been working my way through it. I also posted the link up to a local Makerspace forum where I've been preaching about FreeCad and trying to pull people over to FreeCad from various other cad packages (and their respective abyss' that are made dark by closed source and changing terms of use) 🙂

Thanks for making this book - it will help the noobs like us for sure.

How do I get this manual from github?

The link takes me to a sign in page. After I sign in, I have no idea what to do next.

Hi, I'm sorry, but when I try https://frecadweb.org/manual, I get a 403 forbidden. Which is a pity as I'd very much like to read the book in PDF-format.

The link is dead - probably some background dirty black migration magic is happening....

The link in the post above has a typo (frecadweb), it should be https://freecadweb.org/manual which works for me.

Yes, my bad. It works for me now. Thanks!

However, the version of the manual is for 0.16, I thought the latest version would be for 0.18 which is what's on the wiki. Any chance it will be updated?

(And the wiki links to Gitbook: "Easier to read HTML, PDF, MOBI and EPUB versions are available on GitBook" a link that takes me to the main page of GitBook, without leading to anywhere useful... Any chance that will be updated as well?)

Thanks for the great work,
