ccx.exe missing

Post by ektus »

Hi all,

I've been trying to get into testing FEM and wanted to use a fairly recent dev version, so installed the 64-bit version from June 4th, 2015 from sourceforge. As has been discussed earlier (viewtopic.php?f=8&t=7717&p=82719#p82745), ccx.exe was missing in the archive. I was able to copy it over from some older version, but this should be corrected in the build.

Thanks ektus,
I must have broke the packaging script.
You can get a newer version of calculix here:bConverged Calculix
And set the path to it in FEM preferences
I will fix it for the next snapshot (it's not in yesterday's either)

Thank you. Will download and test tomorrow.

Did you include the current version from the website you linked yesterday, or do I have to install that one still?

I used the cygwin 2.6 build, the same as 0.15 release.
I don't know the distribution requirements to include the bConverged build. I'll look into it.
If your interested there are also some dev testing branches hereFreeCAD FEM Devel
Check out the FEM sub forum for details. The development pace of this workbench is on turbo.
