Arch Spaces - default floor is wonky

Post by JellyPalm »

Hiya,
I am exporting room spaces from a building model into a new document to use them in a TechDraw scenario.

My 2 issues are as follows.

Un.
I am using copy-&-paste.
It works.
Its slow. but dependable.
Is this able to be done better with a Link and how?

-----------

Deux.
Most of my spaces created ok in the original model.

One of them however, shows an incorrect floor plane (see picture of model).

Property/Attribute/IFC data, shows its equation-driven Elevation at 1437, which makes sence when you look at the space. But it should be 0 like all the others.

How do I edit this property or cause it to re-calculate?

merci.

AFAIK the room algorithm first creates an oversized solid, and then slices off portions using the faces of the selected room boundary elements. The raised floor level in one of your rooms suggests that one of the boundary elements has a face at that position.

To correct things you can try to Part_Fuse a moved copy of the room with the original room.
