Did you use a common sketch for the base?

Originally I had drawn the DXF chessboard with QCad for laser cutting.
I imported the DXF file into freecad and translated it into sketches in several bodies.

Sorry, I meant for the base of the pieces. Because they look similar enough to share a common base and different shapes over it.
