I loaded a simple example of arrays with fastners on Git....Sorry for late reply...
About clash detection...Can the developers of BIM workbench create a new button linked to the highcommon macro?
I think that can be useful add a report at the end of the clash detection.

With the last release of fasteners workbench now BOM utility can count fasteners in arrays..

Thanks to the great job of Shai....I tested some cases ad BOM works very well...
