I have developed an object for FEM do analyze reinforced materials mainly reinforced concrete. As every tool this needs an icon. I for sure not good at all in icon design. I made a crampy poor one myself but if would be cool if someone could make a better one. Attached my one ...

Hi bernd. I am happy to help you. What are the requirements for this icon? Do You want to keep the Sphere as symbol? Or is it possible to use another concept?

great.

ATM the spheres are just used for all material icons. Three spheres are the material editor. One sphere is standard material. If we gone find something reasonable I would like to stick with the sphere, if not I am open for others ...

wow cool, they all look great. I woul tend to the first one as it uses the sphere. How about turning it in a way the reinforcement goes into to the upper right corner instead of upper left corner.

Thanks very much for the great icon. Ahh If you would like to becaome a FreeCAD developer you can make a PullRequest with the icon to this branch: https://github.com/berndhahnebach/FreeC ... emconcrete Just replace the old svg in src/Mod/Fem/Gui/Resources/icons/
