Usecases showing where FC's UX needs improvement

Post by Kunda1 » Sat Sep 14, 2019 4:47 am

In a recent post, "FreeCAD as pre-post procesor for MBDyn", user @josegegas posted a clip introducing a proof-of-concept feature, MultiBody Dynamics in FC.

What was interesting to me, beside how cool the video and efforts of the dev were, was the curious need to toggle back and forth between the property editor and the tree view. Constantly. In this video (which should automagically start around the 9m15s mark when you activate it,) you can see the most intensive back and forth in the UI.

FYI, apologies, I can't get the video to be viewable in the forum.
I also tried to make a screencast but the it came out to be 75MB large. So you just need to view the video manually.
