Hi everyone,
I'm new in the forum. I was reading the guide to install the cfdOF workbench correctly and when I try to download the 'cfmesh' and the 'hisa' from the sourceforge links I find that they are down. Could someone give me links that work please?
Greetings and thanks

Seems ok to me. Could you give the problematic links, and where exactly did they come from?claudito wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 12:54 pm Hi everyone,

Re: cfmesh and HiSa links disabled
I just tried the links right now and they work. Sorry, the failed download attempt occurred last week and I had not tried again.
I take this opportunity to ask two more questions about this workbench.
1) I was thinking of uninstalling freecad and reinstalling it to perform a clean workbench installation as detailed by the user "thschrader" on Wed Sep 05, 2018 2:06 pm. in this thread:
https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic. ... 8&start=10
is this the right way to do the installation?
2)Regarding the use of workbench, is it enough to follow the material training of the thread "CfdOF workbench information: Please read this first" published by you or is there a video or pdf tutorial that I can access for a better learning?
Thanks a lot for your time.

Have fun.

thschrader in the thread of the installation process you've said this :
"Warning: before install, all existing MPIs must be uninstalled, otherwise
bluecfd-core terminates install with error (after 1 hour install, happened on my machine...)"
I've uninstalled everything to have a clean installation and i got the error msg of the MPI's present. My question is (and sorry for be so noob) where are these MPI's (or where should be) so i can uninstalled them to.
Thanks !

Re: cfmesh and HiSa links disabled
right click on Windows-symbol in Task-panel, goto "Apps and Features", select MPI if present, uninstall.
(German "Deinstallieren" = uninstall)
On this pc no mpi present, so nothing to uninstall....
