Is there a version i could use with OsX 10.7.5? or any basic CAD software.

On the releases page you find older versions of FreeCAD. Even for version 0.16 you need 10.9 or higher, so you may have to go back as far as 0.15, which is really outdated, but still capable of sketching, pads, pockets boolean operations, ...
