FreeCAD with Gazebo

Post by hyper_dave »

For all FreeCAD and Gazebo fans, I have written a FreeCAD to gazebo exporter a while back.
I'll put it here if anyone is interested.

Very cool.
Can you share more about your intention? Also are you planning on improving it ?

My Intentions on this project was to use it as part of my work flow on my robotics experiments.
I haven't worked on it for a while. But I want to work more on it.
I think more discussion is needed on it since there are lots of changes on FreeCAD over time and there are many assembly workbenches.
Which makes it hard to decide on what the project should use behave and look like as it goes along the path.
