FreeCAD changes back to normal if I select a workbench in Preferences->General->Start up->Auto load module after startup (I have selected PartDesign).

The new version looks very promising: The language-change-crash is gone! Thanks for that!

I guess this is expected as web/start-workbench is disabled. Not sure how to continue here.

Some updates:

As now link-branch merge has happened we can try to prepare for asm3. I will do this by creating a conda package for asm3 (noarch python) and another one for the dependency of asm3: solvespace. The latter is already available from the freecad channel for linux and osx:
https://anaconda.org/freecad/solvespace ... sion=2.4.1

osx is currently blocked by this freeimage issue:
https://github.com/conda-forge/freeimag ... k/issues/9

edit: fixed by linking the mentioned library. But this might be an issue at runtime.
