Which is the workflow between BIM and FEM workbench?

Post by jtm2020hyo »

I did not find help in the BIM workbench forum

https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=53503

I am trying to resize all structural members creating in the BIM WB, analyse using the FEM WB then return to BIM WB and resize the columns correctly, per level.

PD: Inside the link is a sample of array with structural members.

You mean interacting between BIM workbench and FEM workbench like a ping pong between them for topological optimization? This is not implemented ATM.

I did not found documentation or tutorials or videos to use "Reinforced material". so I am not sure if I should add rebar and concrete and create a reference, I tried but just leave errors.

what should do here?
how should I use "Reinforced Material"?
